Just some of the images I've shot in Philadelphia! I grew up in this area, moved to Tennessee for almost a decade, then decided I wanted to venture out again to another faraway land (west coast, perhaps?), but with the passing of my grandmother I decided to come back and make some memories with my family for a while. It seemed the right thing to do.

I will say, I was a bit surprised to find how socially closed-off this region can be. I thought I would be met with open arms and brotherly love. I certainly got that from my family, but beyond that it's been quite a challenge. I want my supporters to know: you are making a difference. You are helping me be there for my family, and helping me help others through art therapy, when at times my heart is breaking.
