Late
Added 2019-09-14 11:53:07 +0000 UTCI woke up at 3:45 this morning to drive [nearly] two hours for a sunrise shoot. The girl said it would be a 20-minute drive for her, and she even texted me when she left her house. But that was nearly an hour ago.
It’s moments like these that I particularly appreciate my Patreon subscribers, because… this is a girl who’s not financially in a place to be able to shoot. But we really wanted to shoot. She’s really beautiful and hasn’t really had a professional shoot yet, and she’s also going through some personal things, where artmaking can help alleviate the pain. So I took a risk and let her do a pre-shoot questionnaire in lieu of the security deposit (I still wanted a way of helping her feel invested in what we’re doing here). But now… I’m waiting, uncertain.
Driving into this park where we’re meeting, I almost hit some deer, on several occasions, so I’m wondering if maybe she hit… oh, there she is. She’s pulling in now.

Yes, and she was great! Just late. (She was genuinely pulling in as I was typing the final sentence of this post.)
