Added 2019-09-24 03:34:19 +0000 UTCMy dear friend [Anonymous] respectfully asked me to hide our image work for a bit while she decides what she’s okay with us releasing. She loves what we shot before, and we’re still doing our second shoot in a couple weeks. We just ask that our friends here be respectful and patient, as she takes some time to define her preferences.
Basically the issue is that we don’t live in a world where people think as we do. We love what we shot, none of which is nude (as she defines the word) and yet people have been calling her a nude model, and that’s not how she wants to define herself.
I am resolved that whatever she decides is okay to be released, I will happily release; whatever she decides is not for the public to see, I will not post; and wherever her professional needs change, and she needs to retract permission she’d previously given, I need to respect that and adjust my public portfolio accordingly. That way, everything about the photoshoot experience people have with me is characterized by me giving something to them, enriching their lives, never taking something from them or exploiting them.
