Kim was surprisingly very nonchalant about everything, to her, this next step was just going to be one of many. To the peons below it was judgement day, just one step of Kim's and its worst tragedy would befall the city.
Something as big as Kim looked to be moving slowly but in actuality her foot was descending at a rapid pace. At some point, it didn't matter where to or how much running those below did, once Kim's sole started descending, there was no way those directly under it to escape. As so before they knew it, Kim's feet would first crumble their buildings on top of them, and finally pressing her sole to the ground, bringing anything else like cars and people to paper flat levels.
