My style of shooting, like any other kind of therapy, can bring flaws to the surface. Then there's an important choice: to take the opportunity to deal with what's been brought to our awareness, or to lash out in anger at the person who helped bring that awareness, as if they themselves were the source of our flaws.
Sometimes my edits are inspired by the beauty I see. And sometimes they're driven by a desire to redeem things that are very much the opposite.
