Progress Report, 09/07 - 21

Hello everyone and welcome to a very brief progress report!

This week has been, for a lack of better words, a small hell on earth. Starting out with double rough shifts and no better ones following other than by shift length, and several power outages messing with night-time renders as the municipality works to upgrade our local power network, the weekend is about to set off with me having finally received my vaccination shot and thus sitting here writing this with my work-arm somewhat incapacitated from pain. They say day 2 is the worst, which certainly didn't get any better as I tend to sleep on my right side (right arm being where I got the shot), so my hope is that the weekend will offer some respite from what this god-forsaken week has had to offer so far.

The most exciting for you people in this week's news is probably me having given my model creator backing an overview, moving away from some that have since long ago switched focus or which otherwise have pursued avenues not congruent with what we do here, and having added a few new ones that broadens the selection of models available to us - one of those new Blender models teased above. How mysterious, I wonder who it could be :)

In other news we've also blown past 9000 followers on twitter, so I'm looking to create a celebratory wallpaper for that by next week, particularly as we're quickly gaining more by each day passing for some reason, so I better hurry up before we suddenly hit 10k or something. I've also been approached by Affect3D about potentially creating an animation for their page, which is both exciting and terrifying, but I'll have to consider whether I have the time for considering my update schedule here and my general time constraints. This patreon and the work I do here take precedence, even if exposing my work to such a big crowd would be beneficial in the long-term.
