A Tall Order

"Yes, what seem to be the issue?"

"My... uh... my mug appears to have 'Man-Thing' written on it."

"Is that not your name?"

Her sheer height necessitated a forward lean with a slight bend to her knees - this simply to ensure that her head would not scuff the ceiling. How her considerable stature could even fit behind the counter was beyond him, never mind how she managed to actually make the coffee he requested - and now, suddenly, she was looming over his table, and by extension also him. It was this extravagance of hers that made him swallow, hard, eyes fixating at hers with a superhuman discipline that he hadn't known he possessed until this very point in time. Unable to find his voice, his temporary savior came in the form of her colleague, a sultry voice from beyond the abundant valleys that were taking up the majority of his field of view - a woman no less buxom, but significantly less intimidating.

"This is the 17:th pen I am confiscating today, Alcina. Where are you hiding all these?"

"Oh, that is an industry secret, darling."

He had a pretty good idea of where exactly one could fit 17 pens, but somehow, his gaze remained above that which the flimsy apron could barely contain. Her head suddenly turned back to him and he bristled in his chair, a wave of heat rolling across his body as she clicked her tongue twice in annoyance - fiery eyes staring transfixed at him, like she wanted something out of him that was beyond his feeble mind to understand.

"You wouldn't happen to have a pen?"

"P-pardon?"

"... or happen to know where I might find one?"

No wonder they called this place 'A Tall Order'.
