Progress Report, 12/11 - 21

Hello everyone and welcome to another in the line of progress reports!

This week has been heavy on the technical front once more, but we've gotten more than a few things sorted in that regard. For starters, the intro script to the Wonder Woman comic sequel has its first draft finished, with a teaser above for the "main" portion of the comic in question, as far as it's planned. The incredible reception of the previous comic honestly took me by surprise, so I'm making sure to take my time and try to dive into my technical understanding of Blender to really make this one shine.

On another note, I have another model facing modification in the works, and I'd hoped to explain my reasoning a bit going forward which might be particularly pertinent to the "Enhanced" crowd:

Work on the Power Girl Streetwalker Edition is underway! Clothes fitting still needs some work, but I am getting places. Now, as you may have noticed, she's particularly "gifted" in the breast department here, which is something I have considered as something of a solution to the whole "enhanced" prospect.

Similarly to how I make women who are meant to be muscular (like Wonder Woman) to be particularly muscular compared to others, I have considered making the women who are known for being busty as being particularly busty compared to others - in fact, going closer to the "enhanced" levels of breast size (or at least between there and DH-canon), and maintaining that as their standard. In this way, even when I don't have time for extra "enhanced" angles, for loops and the likes, the crew in question will have a subset of women to look forward to being featured owing to them innately getting closer to those proportions. In order to maintain my own interest I've still kept it confined within my own tastes, in that respect, so as to make sure I don't become averse to featuring particular characters - this is, in other words, as big as I personally am willing to go and find interesting, head-to-breast-to-body ratio wise, etc, while still thinking it looks decent, or "feasible", even in a fantastical setting like this 3D stuff is.

The standard for "DH-canon" tend to be, in my eyes, that each breast is about the size of a character's head (with some variation between characters), while the "Enhanced" is distinctly larger than their head, often facing upwards of 30% increase in volume, just as Power Girl here above is experiencing.

In this vein, I will attempt to make sure that characters who are known for being on the bustier side will sport these kind of proportions as their core for the foreseeable future, Power Girl being an obvious example, but off the top of my head we also have the likes of Tifa, Scarlet, Dimitrescu and a few other of note.

The other girls in the gallery, the majority in fact, who aren't particularly known for their boob supremacy in their original designs will, of course, be subject to the usual DH proportion shenanigans, with Jack for instance maintaining a somewhat smaller figure than the rest (but still with a huge ass), so don't worry about them.

Current project focuses are the comic work and the Convict piece, which I am still struggling to properly sort out UV maps for, though I hope to have that resolved in the near future. Focus will shift hard onto the Christmas Special once we have the poll finished, which will end this Monday, so as to have that delivered before the holidays. Speaking of which, if you haven't voted, make sure to go vote! From the looks of it we'll have a Proudmoore victory, but you never know what happens over the coming days :)

Thank you, as always, for your continued support and for all of your kind words! As the winter closes in on us and I desperately push the need to switch to winter tires on the car, as I do every year until the very last moment, it's good to have the warmth of kinship that can be found around these communities, so thank you for being so excellent to each other - I've seen other communities where people fight and act out almost constantly, so it's very heartening to see how well we all get along here, respectfully agreeing and disagreeing with each other. Unified in purpose around T&A, one could say :)

Take care of each other, but also yourselves - remember to be kind to yourself, as well, or you'll have a hard time being kind to others. We all tend to treat ourselves with undue harshness for things which we'd happily excuse others for as being perfectly understandable, so grant yourself a sliver of that understanding too, once in a while.
