Happy New Year! DH will be back on January 7:th!

"I wasn't expecting you to forgo your spot immediately, Jack. What's gotten into you?"

"The Blue Sun contingent just announced their intention to dock, and Ashley's been missing since the Hegemony diplomats arrived, so I'll have to go down there in just a minute."

"As your commanding officer I expect you to be back, both of you, before the evening's end. Liara and her husband will have to go fairly soon after the new Sol year is declared."

"Whatever, Commander. I'll see if I can find that xenophile bitch while I'm out there."

"What?"

"Not you, Miranda."

While showing little sign otherwise of her promise being true, Jack's lingering gaze upon the yahg's member all but assured she'd return before the year's end. A good thing, as Shepard was starting to feel particularly needy and there were only so many men present to go around.

A smile spread on her lips - this year would end just as it started, and the tradition would no doubt move on into the next. Truly a new year to be happy about.

Happy New Year everyone! I'll be incredibly busy over new years eve and the coming days afterwards, so I am going to take this opportunity to, early in the day (by CET standards), wish you a happy new year and hope that you've had a decent 2021, all things considered. Owing to my work schedule and the faint hope that I'll be able to take a few days off in the coming days for the sake of family, my next update will be on Friday the 7:th of January, which will come in the form of a progress report where I intend to elaborate on the immediate and long-term goals of my work, particularly the stuff pertinent to 2022 :)

Hope to see you there, and thank you, as always, for your continued support and for all of your kind words! It's been a wild year this one, but I've got some hope that 2022 will calm down a bit so we can get our lives back in order. Regardless, we struggle ever onwards :)
