Progress Report, 27/12 - 21

Hello everyone and welcome to another, brief progress report!

The Christmas Special has been rather well-received so far with the community here as been very kind just as usual, but even the public comments seem to be mostly of the positive kind, so I think we can check the box that the project was something of a success! While there was some corners cut towards the end, including how I initially intended for there to be professional voice acting, I'm still fairly happy with how it turned out. Hopefully you enjoy it and are looking forward to our plans for next year :)

And speaking of next year: the poll results for Wonder Woman's partner have come in. It was a proper nailbiter towards the end, with the Corrupt Cop having had a sizable lead for a long time with Darkseid just barely not catching up in the final vote tally. In that sense, I can safely proclaim the Corrupt Cop as the winner and the one who will, subsequently, be the lucky fella to knock Wonder Woman up, but I would be remiss with these results to not include Darkseid in some capacity. I have some ideas for the comic epilogue though, so as we gear up for next year, I aim to refine his inclusion in the "ending" of this particular Wonder Woman comic.

Suggestions are, of course, always welcome too, particularly as I reckon there are many here who are more familiar with the comics and lore of DC than I am - perhaps there's some dirty WW+Darkseid dynamic that I'm unaware of :)

Comic work aside, early next year we'll also look into the score of projects in the works and actually decide on what to prioritize and finally get out the door - a truly novel concept. While poking away at projects whenever the mood strikes is a good way to maintain my creativity, I also fear that with my scatter-brained approach might make some fall by the wayside, and I'd hate to cancel projects that I've otherwise announced to my backers for no other reason than "losing interest" in them. As such, I'll select a handful of them that I feel are viable and put them up to a poll, and I'll try to make the winner a priority while working on it side by side with the comic and just see how that works out.

Next up content-wise is the New Years Wallpaper for the 31:st, which I've taken the liberty to make Mass Effect themed - big shocker. While I hate to diverge from my usual update schedule, the holidays tend to break up both my work schedule and spare time into unpredictable chaos to the point where it only becomes a practice in frustration to wrestle it into some kind of cohesion, so I'm opting to set some less ambitious goals over this holiday week.
