Certain holidays meant a significant increase in the workload at the café, and while not impossible to manage, Cass always found herself struggling each and every time to get through her shift - particularly as it was only her working these days.
Valentines was no different, and though it did mean a boost to sales it carried the added stress of projecting how much supply she'd need to meet that year's demand, something that could put an initial strain on her budget.
As it had turned out this year, she'd purchased too much, and thus ended up with no small amount of chocolate left over. Cass however took it in stride - it was just a matter of finding her old top and pawning off the rest on connoisseurs that were looking for a slightly reduced price.
Chocolate and eye-candy, she called it, and it worked wonders.

Wednesday wallpaper, and though a few days late, valentines themed and sort of based on an old meme! I have no idea what possessed me to simultaneously be aware enough to buy chocolates for the wife but also not realize I should have made this Monday loop specifically valentines themed. Bit of a missed opportunity, but hey, there will be more chances :)
Thank you, as always, for your continued support and for all of your kind words! Beset by a massive headache, I crawl back into bed, hoping rest will be the tribute my body needs before my shift tonight. Hope you're doing alright out there, and see you all Friday for the report!
Take care of yourselves, and each other!
