Nursing was normally back-breaking work, but for Karen, it was the shift that followed which truly exhausted her. Though there were charities out there with a different approach, she'd purposely signed up with one that had more tangible, immediate benefits for those in the streets, where she wouldn't just give a dollar to some faceless company in the hopes that a sliver of it reached the needy down the line.
It didn't take long for the soup kitchen's alley to be repurposed, though, with her proclivities. It turns out that while food and shelter was appreciated, there was another warmth that the denizens of the city needed, and who better to provide respite from the cold than a literal superhero?
The concrete and cobblestone could definitely be made more comfortable, however, as far as her poor back was concerned.

Wednesday wallpaper! Been a while since we had a Power Girl visit and I played around with Cycles, so here she is once more, in all her glory :)
Thank you, as always, for your continued support and for all of your kind words! This week has been a rough one but I hope to be able to have something interesting to report on this Friday, but barring that we might have a poll coming up instead. We'll see what Father Time will grant me :)
Take care of yourselves, and each other!
