Joys of the Island

"Welcome to Besaid... have a drink, and find somewhere comfortable to... sit."

Besaid's small village had, under Lulu's guidance and leadership, grown into a bustling hub of tourism and vacationing, with all the issues that came with it. Though the alcohol consumption and debauchery was initially received very poorly by the local temple, the priesthood eventually realized the hidden benefits to having such an arrangement nearby - there was, after all, no shortage of souls looking for forgiveness and redemption among those with a propensity for the bottle and pleasure houses.

What they could not agree with was the mayor herself seemingly being so very... familiar, with the everyday workings of the island's economy, seeming more intent on mingling with tourists and workers alike down at the docks or among the bars than sorting the steadily growing pile of paperwork on her desk. Worse still, the Crusaders and the priesthood themselves had experienced a growing distrust among their ranks, and while direct accusations were uncommon, the rumors were plentiful and volatile - most involving whom among them were still true to their mission, and who had simply been swayed to the mayor's side owing to a night between her shapely thighs.

The rumors came to an absolute peak when a movie sphere was discovered in the private drawers of the temple's head priest. An emergency meeting was called where the sphere's recording was activated, and while the old man vehemently denied its legitimacy, claiming to having been framed, there was no doubt among the priesthood that it was indeed him in the footage they saw. The last shot of the sphere proved to be the final piece of evidence required, with the head priest rearing back, his engorged member pumping furiously between Lulu's massive breasts before, with a frail groan rolling off his lips, his glans grew and contracted - sending jets of seed across the room, coating the mayor's face in the process, but also hitting the tent's back wall.

A young priest was immediately tasked with investigating, and returned moments later, confirming that the spot hit had, in fact, obviously been recently scrubbed clean when compared to that of the rest of the head priest's tent.

Outcry, outrage, and the upheaval of the temple's hierarchy followed. Chaos that, conveniently, only gave the mayor freer hands to shape the island according to her vision while they recovered. Regardless, less than a month later, with the priesthood all but completely subverted or converted to Lulu's side, those few pure souls that remained came to realize that it had been incredibly unwise to show its members the contents of the video in the first place.
