Progress Report, 21/10 - 22
Added 2022-10-21 11:07:16 +0000 UTCHello everyone and welcome to another in the line of progress reports.
Work's continued this week, though I haven't gotten nearly as much done as I'd hoped to. That said, Miranda project is coming along, and I've also begun to pose some of the potential ideas for Ivy scenes for the 20k Celebration Piece, though nothing concrete to show here yet for fear of people seeing something they like, only for me to end up going for something else - thereby disappointing folks. It's happened before, and I have learned my lesson on the matter the hard way.
On that note, I'm somewhat torn on the 20k project, wanting to keep it short while at the same time feeling that it deserves something more ambitious than the usual game sound rips. Chances are I'll be looking into buying some semblance of voice acted soundpack, so if anyone knows of a lady VA that can pull off a convincing Ivy Valentine (who has a very unique voice indeed), do let me know. Animation length will be somewhere along 1-2 minutes, tops, or at least that is the aim - so it won't be a major ordeal for fear of overburdening my already packed schedule, but which would make game sound rips repeat more than a few times either way, hence the VA path. Ivy deserves a quality treatment, if anything.
Spooky month continues as well, with more themed wallpapers and the likes coming up. Hoping to have at least one loop sorted as well in the spirit of it all, with my gaze set towards next Monday, so for those who enjoy these holiday events, do keep your eyes peeled :)
There is also, though tentatively, an extremely small chance I'll open up a few commission slots closer towards December. More on this later, and I'll be sure to announce it properly should it become the case.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support and for all of your kind words. The weather's presently in this awkward state where it is too cold to not wear a sweater, and too warm to wear one, meaning everyone is simultaneously slightly cold and slightly sweaty. "Dress for the weather" only takes you so far, so make sure you keep hydrated, dry and warm, wherever you might be.
Take care of yourselves, and each other!
