Not Quite As Envisioned

Corneo felt his own leg twitch, the headache spreading from his scalp and rolling down his neck before crawling into his shoulders. He let out a shaky breath, and immediately decided to remain laying still, silently cursing himself for not having carpeted the room as he slowly, painfully so, became aware of the discomfort of laying face down against the wooden floor.

"A-are more coming?"

The voice was all too familiar to him, and made his memory rush back to him like water out of a broken dam. It had been meant to be just another evening, with his wanton vixen bent over his bed as he took his sweet time enjoying himself.

Instead, he'd heard a loud creak, the trap door to the sewers behind him opening like a gate to hell itself, and before he knew it a massive, green fist had connected with his head, sending him flying across the room.

"Please tell me there are more of you..."

From the sound of it, the brute had taken up his sacred place, and his wife was playing along to buy him precious time to stage a rescue effort. What an actress! Sadly, he'd told his men in no uncertain terms that he'd wished to be alone for the entire night, so it would be quite a while before her knight in shining armor could vanquish the invaders.

Never mind get off the floor. Good heavens, his head.

"Y-yes- inside, do it ins-"

Mixed emotions welled up within Corneo as he heard Tifa being filled, seemingly quite thoroughly so as well, her voice whimpering in approval at the turn of events. Perhaps the creature would be content with busting inside his wife and then nabbing a gold bar or two, and Corneo could shut the damn door behind him as he left? Not the heroic rescue he envisioned, but he was pretty sure he needed to see some kind of doctor about this headache, preferably soon, and sudden movements probably wasn't conducive to that.

"Is that...?"

There was an echo from below, rhythmical - not drums, but someone was clearly making their way up the emergency ladder. Corneo grit his teeth, but remained utterly still, keeping his breathing shallow as to not give away his state of consciousness.

Mentally apologizing for his guile, he found that his wife, thankfully, was a good actress. Great in fact.

Very convincing.

Tifa returns thanks to the Alley Crew vote and gets to become familiar with the orc fella who joined our gallery so very recently! The pose was a bit of a challenge and required some rather extensive sculpting to look alright, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out so I hope you enjoy it!

Next up this month will be the more ambitious loop, and it's a darn close race over in the poll! Release is still entirely up in the air, but I'll be sure to keep people posted once work begins on it this week :)
