Hello everyone and welcome to another in the line of progress reports!
This week has been heavy on model work. The Freya model saw finalization for use after I sorted out the wallpaper, and the newest Cammy model has finally reached the gallery as well. I've custom sculpted a fair bit on this one to get her to where she is while I've also tried to retain her more lithe, firm shape, and I think what's come out is something that stays true to form while still being very much in line with what we do here. I have some hopes that she'll prove ready for use by this weekend so I can have a loop of her sorted for this Monday, what with Street Fighter being very popular right now and all. Cammy necessitated an upgrade of the current Daz addon and Leguylemef's newest, custom script to be implemented, things that always can be precarious owing to old models breaking etc. Judging by a quick overview though, most things thankfully seems intact, but it remains to be seen if some more obscure model has turned into some black hole abomination when I suddenly find myself needing it.
In Scenario news, Gwen Stacy has been voted by the Alley Crew into the spotlight, and will thus feature for this month's upcoming Scenario animation. If all goes well the release should be on the 26:th, but I might need a few extra days to get more work sorted - will keep you updated as work continues, just as always.
Me and a friend are also looking into the possibility of porting Benezia from Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, what with me finally having bought the game when it was on sale (praise GabeN), so alongside the massive undertaking that is the SFM and FBX to Blender pipeline I'm also looking to have her blue behind ripped from the game in the near future. It's always a balancing act to work on projects I presently have in the works, while doing this kind of preparatory work for future work, but jumping at whatever causes the greatest spark of imagination tends to do it. Work work, zug zug.
I also finally have a new office chair that doesn't actively try to murder my back. So thank you, IKEA, and thank you, dear backers, for your continued support and for all of your kind words. The heat is coming back in force up here, so fingers crossed we don't get more forest fires like the past few years - please stay safe out there, folks.
And take care of yourselves, and each other!
