I think Zara might be a little out of it. Also, poor Faye for being left alone with Beast the Cat.

I'm going to avoid deeper spoilers, but just to answer your question: Fae beings cannot make wishes and have to do what their master/mistress tell them to do. Zara told Faye to look after the house so that means she has to stay there and take care of it and everything in it including her furry nemesis.
