Progress Report, 04/08 - 23

Hello everyone and welcome to a brief progress report!

The Ivy short/project is once again properly underway. I had gotten stuck on a rather lackluster intro that I, no matter how much I tried, never was quite happy with no matter how much I tweaked it. Thus it's been refurbished into something significantly more interesting in my eyes, which makes the rest of the project easier to work with as well. It'll require some more model work in the Soul Calibur department, as to facilitate a few cameos on the way to the main event, but my spirits are finally high for this darn thing so I'll be getting it resolved as soon as my sleeping pattern is allowed to return to normal. Night shifts are killers, folks.

As for Monday's loop, the Alley Crew has somehow (impressively) managed a 3-way draw, where a 4-way was honestly close. It remains to be seen whether I just arbitrarily pick whichever I prefer personally, or if I try to find my old dungeons and dragons dice to toss. Regardless, the schedule continues as always, so Monday will have its usual loop as promised.

The response to the Sif Scenario has been incredible, so thanks to everyone who commented, shared or otherwise engaged with it. I'm humbled but also excited at the reception, as it does tell me that I've perhaps gotten closer to the format that suits Scenarios as a product. I'll be continuing to tweak, experiment and monitor them, but as it is right now I feel like I've hit something of a stride in terms of content delivery, which I hope will persist.

I'm going to have to keep this short as I need to get some gym work in before a much needed nap, which I dearly hope won't turn into too long sleep as I have a regular shift coming next week. So thank you, as always, for your continued support and for all of your kind words. The weather still remains mild, though we've been promised (threatened with?) some heat to return in August by the weather institutes, so I fully intend to enjoy whatever cool I can in the moment.
