Progress Report, 11/08 - 23

Hello everyone and welcome to another in the line of progress reports!

The Ivy project has once again seen a lot of progress this week, with the intro scene in such a state that it mainly requires some lighting polish and then it'll be getting straight to animation. It'll be the first time I attempt a walking cycle animation since the old SFM days, so it's going to be a fun challenge to pull off.

The main scene is largely set since a while back, and I have a good idea about the transition over to it, though the amount of useful sound clips from the game are few and far between, just barely capable of stringing together a cohesive narrative. I've again and again considered "upgrading" the project into a full blown one, with actual voice acting, but have opted to try to keep it contained instead since it was only ever meant to be a Twitter follower celebration piece. As things are I will endeavor to keep it that way, hitting something of a "short project" kind of situation, or a long Scenario by all means, with an intro bit, a main intercourse bit, and perhaps a small outro. Regardless, motivation remains high, and I think you'll like what I have in store for this one.

More model work was also finalized, if anything owing to the Ivy piece in question, but also to facilitate the Less Popular Ladies vote going on over in the discord. It's an even race so far, just like the Alley Crew Scenario vote is, so I have little to report on in terms of any projected winners so far. Good luck to you, and your favourites :)

The storms remain, messing with my ability to do cardio in the nearby woods and instead forcing me to the gym for an inferior running experience. Barring the landslides things have otherwise remained stable, if one can call them that (landslides considered), but we're holding on here. Hopefully winter comes soon.
