Added 2024-02-05 13:00:13 +0000 UTCI changed this part of the story a few times. In one, Kai told Brandon's mom about transforming and had her run a physical exam (she's a nurse). Another, Brandon's mother was really confrontational. The ideas weren't bad, but I couldn't make them flow right, so I changed it to this.
