Themes: Voting or Rotation

Hello Alley Crew and welcome to another poll relating to cooldowns and the likes, specifically aimed at the Themes we have.

The most common feedback I get regarding my work is a lack of variety, and Themes are no exception thereof. After increasing the cooldowns in small increments over time, I've realized that with the way we have it now the two Theme options on each poll are a single step removed from simply having a rotation instead, which for me as a creator works just as well - or perhaps even better in some cases.

Allow me to delineate the difference between the two:

1: Voting - which is the present system, gives you 2 options to choose for each poll, with a lengthy cooldown that makes any winner wait 3 polls before being featured again. This means there are always 2 Theme options available to vote between at the bottom of the poll.

2: Rotation - changing to a rotating system would instead mean having a theme predetermined. This would mean you would only vote for the ladies while knowing the Theme beforehand, which would be announced loud and clear for each poll.

Voting has its advantage in that it allows for more agency and choice for backers, with the downside that some Themes can get a bit stuck in the voting pool and not be featured as often.

Rotation has its advantage in knowing the theme before voting for a lady you think fits for it, and since we have 5 Themes spread over alternating Loops and Scenarios, the rotation also means that if "Large Monsters" was featured in a loop it would inevitably be featured for a Scenario next time it comes up in the rotation, ensuring higher variety over the content formats as well. Additionally, there's less of a chance where a lady ends up with the "wrong" Theme in people's minds, as can happen when there are 2 fairly even Themes in the race and one of the ladies suddenly surges into victory, or vise versa. We'll also be able to fit 2 more ladies in the poll owing to the slots being freed up. The downside is that this removes the agency of voting for a Theme, making the system feel less dynamic.

I will be running this poll for ~2 weeks, ending on the final day of this month, to make sure you folks have plenty of time to vote.
