The New Neighbours

The rebuilding efforts after Ragnarok was no small undertaking. Entire realms had been destroyed or suffered upheaval, with people moving like redirected streams into others - some, as a result, threatening to overflow. Mitigating the friction between old foes that were like ice and fire, sometimes literally given the elementals, had been an exhausting matter that had drawn upon every soul with the willingness to help.

And yet, she had been lonely. It had been difficult to accept, particularly given the implications of the absence of a certain bearded man in her life, instilling something so old and forlorn as longing in her. It had seized her regardless, and the solitude back at her house had, to put it mildly, been difficult to get used to after all that had happened.

That is, until the frozen wasteland had gotten visitors.

Muspelheim had fared no better than the others, and Freya had been eager to welcome the new arrivals, help them set up their steadings, and supply them with what she could spare in terms of the basics. Soon enough, her witch's sanctuary had become the primary hub around which other huts and buildings sprung up, forming, in no small part, a community.

It was amidst all this that she, finally, had found a cure for her loneliness. She surmised that Kratos would be off on his journey of self-discovery for a while longer.

And now, she had all the time in the world.

Note that the RAW file size and format has changed. Blender no longer allows me to render directly into .avi format, so they are instead in .mkv format and will be for the foreseeable future. The principle remains the same, even as the file sizes are much smaller - these are the files utilized for editing, and are thus as high quality as can be prior to Vegas influences.

Freya came out on top in the most recent Alley Crew poll, finally gracing us with her presence. It was actually a 3-way tie, but I rolled one of my old trusted dice and it ended up in her favor. Pretty happy with how this one turned out, having opted to go for a more intense riding style, something I thought fitting for the theme of large monster fellas, at the end of the day.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support and for all of your kind words! The weather here lately has, for a lack of better words, calmed the heck down, but we're getting reports that a new heat front is on its way once more. Stay hydrated folks, sweat is always on the horizon.
