Progress Report, 16/08 - 24

Hello everyone and welcome to a very brief progress report.

DH has come down with a cold, which paradoxically means I won't be going away over the weekend in order to drive relatives across half the country, but also means I've been feeling terrible for a few days, culminating in a sore throat, cough and a head that feels roughly 4 times the size than it normally does. This won't be impacting the Scenario, given the time I have left to work on it, but it does mean I won't be as quick to respond to messages as I usually am, whether on this platform or on Discord, given that I'm trying to actively recuperate. Again, this won't impact the schedule, but I'll just be a little distant as I try to spend more time on the couch than I do by my screen.

You might wonder what the heck the header image is, and in short it's Sadako before her fix and second image. It appears that the newest Blender updates broke some stuff in Mavixtious' model lineup, particularly messing up a bunch of drivers, which I thankfully managed to resolve by unceremoniously getting rid of them. There are a few more models suffering this that I'll have to go over and fix up, but thankfully the damage seems to be minimal otherwise, so nothing that's going to impede on my work here in that sense.

The Scenario winner of the month is none other than Lulu from Final Fantasy X, being paired up with some Fantasy Creatures, so I reckon we'll see what I end up posing her with come the weekend. I have a feeling most folks wouldn't mind some burly orcs joining in with the fun, so to speak, but we'll see how it shapes up.

On another note, we're slowly coming up on October, colloquially referred to as "spooky month", and I figured we'd do the same thing as last year and have my content reflect that once more, but this time with more dedication. October is thus officially to be dedicated to spooky themes, whether that's vampires, pumpkins, or succubi, what have you, and I figured that the polls (LPL and the Alley Crew both) will be limited to characters that thematically fit the month as well. For the Alley Crew, it means a pause on both cooldowns and the theme rotation, effectively freezing them until the normal schedule resumes in November, and then we'll continue on as always.

I realize this is an early notification as we're almost 2 months out, but I rather warn well ahead of time than have it suddenly strike like some snake out of the underbrush.

Dates of interest coming up:
August 22:nd - Alley Crew ($10 tier) vote for the first loop of September.
August 24:th - LPL nomination period begins over on the Discord for eligible tiers ($5 and $10).
August 26-30 - Release of this month's Scenario.

TL:DR:
DH is sick, though not horribly. Just needs some rest.
Some models broken. Fixing them.
Lulu (FFX) winner of August Scenario.
October month will have Halloween theme, including voting options.

I'll be looking to shake off this cold as soon as humanly possible, so it's time to go get some of that witch's brew that the wife's got on the stove out in the kitchen, then swaddle myself in blankets on the couch and watch some show or something. I hope you're doing well out there, all things considered - beware the old folks in the gym who cough openly, for they might just lay you low.
