Progress Report, 13/12 - 24

Hello everyone and welcome to a brief progress report!

A couple of new characters are joining the gallery, among them Faye Valentine. I've had to do a lot of custom sculpting this week which is very time consuming, but I actually like the results, so I hope you'll enjoy the models too. Another Firekeeper model is also being voted on over on the Discord, and Katherine Proudmoore is seeing her armature cleaned up in anticipation of proper rigging, which I hope will be a learning experience that'll let me fix up my orc OC as well. I've also had a lot of requests for Squirrel Girl to join the gallery from that new shiny Marvel game, but am yet to find a model that will suit our purposes here, where those I've found either being tailored specifically for Cycles rendering, lacking in fidelity, or having other issues. Know that I'm on the lookout though - I'm sure something will come around eventually.

The holiday stress is encroaching upon my state of being and time, but we have a couple more wallpapers and the Scenario to sort out before the holidays land. The winner of this month's Scenario poll was a bit of a surprise, with Cortana from Halo being pushed into the winning spot, though very narrowly with only 1 vote up from the two other entries who shared a tied second place. As always I'll be fixing up the Scenario over the two coming weekends, so posing will begin this Saturday, where it'll be interesting to fit a santa hat or similar to one of our bigger male monster talents. The Scenario's release is slated for Monday the 23:rd, so the day before we celebrate Christmas up here, and in the meantime we'll of course continue the holiday spirit by the usual wallpaper updates and the likes.

But, brevity - so thank you, as always, for your continued support and for all of your kind words. The first progress report of January will be a meatier one, as it usually is, where I will delineate my plans for 2025 - particularly the earlier part of it - my priorities and so on. I will confess that I'm pretty exhausted in the present and really need to have a bit of a rest, so I'm hoping that the holiday hiatus I'll take (24-31 December) will serve to recharge my batteries, so I'm ready and highly motivated come January again. Given the material I've got planned I'm pretty sure I'll come out of the holidays in high spirits, so I hope you all also will be able to relax some before the new year comes around.
