Hello everyone, Happy New Year and Good Continuation, as we say up here!
2025 is officially started, and with that comes the first report of the year, intended to delineate what will happen in the long and short term.
First, regarding the tier changes:
- $10 tier (Alley Crew) will be seeing its Themes function during votes removed, effective immediately. The vote for a victorious lady will work just as always, just without a rotating theme structure, and it'll instead be up to me as the creator to find a suitable partner for the lady that wins the Scenario votes, just like I do with the Less Popular Ladies (LPL) votes. This is to alleviate the extremely common situation where a lady wins but has no male partner that corresponds with her universe available, forcing me to utilize generic male models, which I personally find to be a bit draining and also less interesting content-wise (particularly for what I can come up with in writing) compared to ladies being paired with appropriate in-universe partners.
- $5 tier (Regular) will not see any changes.
- $2 tier (Customer) will be granted basic Discord access, with access to a few channels that are mainly community oriented (for instance the General Chat). This change is owed to another matter that I will elaborate on further below, for those interested.
- $1 tier (Veteran) will not see any changes.
Second, a Subscribestar mirror page is being set up.
I've been working on getting a Subscribestar page set up where I mirror my Patreon content, so as to make sure I don't put all my eggs in one basket. The content on both platforms will be exactly the same, so there will be no reason to sub to one over the other save for consumer platform preferences. This is the reason for the Patreon $2 tier being granted Discord access, as Subscribestar does not allow you to set up tiers that lack Discord access and the $2 tier over there thus had to have it, and I found it to be unfair to the Patreon crowd if I'd had that perk over there but not over here.
The Subscribestar page is not officially launched yet, and requires a lot of work before it'll be ready, as I intend to finally sit down and sort through my massive .rar archive gallery in order to create a comprehensive MEGA based folder system which will make sure folks over on Subscribestar (as well as on Patreon too, of course) can access (most of) my older content there as well. Chances are I'll make the cutoff point at the juncture where I transitioned to Blender or a bit later, when I started getting more comfortable in the program, but it'll be a rather monumental, time-consuming task regardless, so the $2 change isn't going to happen immediately tomorrow but rather just "as soon as can be".
Third, I've added some more models to the galleries:
Squirrel Girl (Marvel Rivals)
Storm (Marvel Rivals)
Vampirella (Vampirella)
Iron Bull (Dragon Age: Inquisition)
Venom (Marvel Rivals)

Fourth, I have some priorities to delineate with the new schedule in effect, which I first got to try out, somewhat, in December.
The immediate priority of the new schedule will entail three matters:
- Large projects (Presently: Ivy)
- Comics (Presently: EDI)
- Technical study (Presently: fluid dynamics)
I only really got the shortest whiff of it back in early December before the holiday stress took over, but I still liked what I saw, and it feels like having a full weekend every month to really dig into something will enable me to progress with actual consistency on the stuff I want to get done, which really are my projects and the likes. Similarly, I see it giving me the peace of mind to sit and actually try stuff I'll no doubt fail at, which will include stuff like fluids and physics cages, but which will have a positive effect in the long term - with my previous schedule I always felt like I couldn't find a moment to sit down and work on something that wouldn't result in "content" that I could share, but with that pressure gone, even for one weekend, I can finally see myself pushing other stuff out the door than what my usual schedule entails.
Fifth, I'd like to extend my thanks to you all, sincerely, for your support and kind words. 2024 was a turbulent year, with my wife ending up in the hospital, payoneer suddenly deciding to lock my account, where I caught covid, and chaos just generally reigned on some months. Through it all, you folks here were a truly monumental support to my everyday life, and I don't really know what to say that'll actually encapsulate just how thankful I am to you all, other than another thanks, and that I'll do my best to measure up to it.
If anyone has any questions pertaining to anything I've written above, please do not hesitate to write a comment below, or to reach out to me in direct messages, and I'll make sure to answer to the best of my ability.
In the meantime, just as always, please do take care of yourselves out there, as well as each other.
/DH
