Progress Report, 16/05 - 25

Hello everyone and welcome to a very brief progress report.

EDI comic and Ivy project progress continues, though in limited capacity this week owing to the Aftermath wallpaper taking up a large part of Tuesday and me having to resolve another attempt at multi-account vote tampering for the Scenario this Thursday, with its subsequent fallout.

EDI's comic saw mainly rough panel posing that'll require a lot of cleanup, still it's coming along and I'm liking how it's shaping up, so I am rather excited to show you the full thing once Chapter 2 is done.

Ivy's project barely saw the needle move this week owing to the aforementioned tampering. I managed to get a bit of basic structure for the creampie sorted, and that's about it, but Scene 4 is still being worked on even if I had hoped to have had more time to spend towards it this week.

The Scenario vote tampering has been resolved with the involved accounts permanently banned. Consequently (and thanks to a coin-toss as a tie-breaker), the winner of the poll is Rachel from Ninja Gaiden. Five accounts (as you can see in the header image) in this event subscribed within 6 hours of the poll ending, all of them voted for the same option, and then all of them unsubscribed within an hour of the poll ending. None of them had been prior backers, all of them were new accounts, and all of them gave similar reasoning in the exit poll as to why they stopped their backing. Blocking one of them from my Patreon resulted in the subsequent IP block of all of them, automatically, meaning they all vanished just like last time this happened, but this time also including an account from an already established backer who thus also remains banned. I've queried Patreon about potential IP restrictions for voting, something I know Subscribestar does natively, as this would alleviate the issue a whole lot and put less emphasis on us creators going through the statistics each time with a fine-tooth comb just to find discrepancies.

For transparency's sake, the .csv files for both Subscribestar and Patreon have been included in the attachments of this post, so people can check for themselves. They've naturally been scrubbed of emails and usernames, maintaining only votes and dates/times for reference, so votes are still anonymous to everyone but me, as the creator.

I take the integrity of the backer voting very seriously and if I catch anyone attempting to tamper with it, bans will be issued. I thus implore you: do not coordinate with others or use extra accounts, it creates a lot of additional work for me and undermines the integrity of the vote, making others less keen on backing me, threatening this entire venture at its core. Also it makes me sad, so consider an image of the most depressed Swede you can imagine trying to slowly go through Microsoft Excel documents with his way too big hands for these damn keyboards, and maybe it will quell the impulse, should it arise.

TL:DR:
EDI comic work continues
Ivy project work continues
Multi-vote attempt to hijack Scenario thwarted; real winner is Rachel (Ninja Gaiden)
No new gallery entries this week

Bit of a dour note to this week, but thank you, everyone, so much for your support and kind words. I'll admit that by the time I'm writing this my brain is a bit cooked, where subpar sleep and the subsequent fallout of the vote took its toll on the mind. Posing for the Scenario will begin Saturday, so I'll be sure to charge my batteries properly up until that point.

Hope you're doing well out there, all things considered, and please take care of yourselves as well as each other!
