Progress Report: 04/07 - 25
Added 2025-07-04 04:00:07 +0000 UTCHello everyone and welcome to a really brief progress report.
Both Ivy's project and EDI's comic has come along a bit more. EDI's comic pages require quite a lot of custom sculpting, more than I anticipated, but it's in the works, even if the Aftermath took up a lot of my work hours during Tuesday. Ivy meanwhile has some pretty nifty custom bits, especially early on, and a LOT of peripheral animation to eventually sort out, but it's getting done.
No new characters added to the gallery this week, though I intend to look at a few over the course of the weekend. I've reworked Power Girl (DC) a bit, and will be sure to update her gallery entry accordingly once I sit down with model work.
Emma's Scenario seems to have been generally well received with people enjoying the variation in poses afforded by the splitting of scenes and the likes, so I'll bear in mind for future Scenarios that these tailor-made things for characters seems all in all appreciated. I personally find it more interesting to make these more experimental pieces over the common 2-pose setup, though it's always a matter of time limitations by virtue of my monthly schedule, so we'll see how things shape up in the future.
Nothing more to report this week I believe, but welcome to July everyone - thank you so much for your support and kind words, just as always, and brace for the coming heat. My fan will be working overtime in the living room where I work, I can tell that much.
Take care of yourselves out there, as well as each other!

Constraints set by the 1 minute runtime is the culprit a lot of the time, at the end of the day. It's difficult finding a middle-ground, so perhaps 2 poses is the sweet spot in that sense since more than that means the scenes might seem a bit too short. On the other hand I tend to get the feedback that folks wish there were more poses whenever I run with 2, so all in all quite the pickle. Suffice to say, making it longer is not viable given the 2 weekend work limitation either.

2025-07-04 18:39:20 +0000 UTCHey there Mr. DH! I hope you're doing well. I'm not usually into comic books or comics in general, but I'm here to support your Japanese and Korean video game characters. I'm really hoping to see Aerith Gainsborough or Rebecca Chambers in a loop scene this month. They didn't get a chance to appear in the past, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
