Today photoshoots + Clarification

Hello my lovely patronites! How was your weekend?

I had a good one ^^ I finally finished the missing props for Kasumi, Xiaoyu, Sasha, Lust and Morrigan! 😌😌 I was feeling motivated and that's amazing... It's been a while I didn't feel that way!

Well, I've been keeping it as a secret, but I think you deserve to know. I don't know what are your opinions about it, but... Some months ago when I was getting sick very often, I went to visit some doctors and along with my illness at that time I've been diagnosed with depression and anxiety. And this kinda explains a few things about my behavior lately. I think you should know because I don't want you to get worried about me when I disappear for a while, or when I'm sad for no reason, or even when I'm not happy about something about me. I will eventually get better ^^ I'm working to get a healthier mind! I'm not taking any meds, but I'm doing meditation and I'm back doing stuff I like but wasn't doing anymore...

That's it. I love you so much and you have no idea how much Patreon helps on my struggling. You guys make me happy and I'm eternally grateful.

Xo 😘

PS: Thanks for your votes on the last post, patronites! Here's the result: 1st place: 1 // 2nd place: 15 // 3rd place: 6 and 12! Well, since I don't want anything exactly like others have made, I decided to do something similar, but with my own touch. I made this ??boobie hole sweater?? lol. But I made it with the fabrics I had here: Purple/Dark Blue-ish. Hope you like it anyway.

Comments

Pardon my late commenting. Danielle, I also suffer from chronic depression and some anxiety(I see a doctor for it, without going into millions of details in public ... ), whatever you are feeling or those waves of motivation... that ebb and flow... yea, I can relate.

NowFallenAngel

Guys, I just wanted to say I love you all so much. You have no idea. I wish I could hang out with all of you in real life. I really hope I can meet each one of you one day. I'm packing my stuff for Panama and I didn't have proper time to answer each of your comments yet, but I will do. Love you.

Danielle Vedovelli

Thank you very much for giving us the opportunity to keep you and your struggles in our thoughts and prayers to the best of our ability 😊

Emmanuel I. Uzoh

I hope you the best, and I know you will get well soon. Those invisible struggles are the hardest ones sometimes (and sometimes even you don't know you are suffering because of depression). A big hug for you Dani.

Oscar Quijada

Ohh, Illness, Depression, and Anxiety? All I'll say is that I can understand the struggle somewhat, due to a similar diagnosis here. That aside, as everybody else has said, you're not alone. You got plenty of support from folks all over the world. No matter what, remember that you are strong. And we're right behind you.

Kasey N. Moore

Take your time, and take it easy. Your personal well being is more important than anything else. As you can see from the comments from some of the others, we are all supportive of you in every way. If you need a break, if you need to vent, we are here. Sadly, we can only send virtual hugs, but trust me, you will feel the love. Worst case scenario I will bite the bullet and start pledging 100+ to have personal vid calls with you, and check up on you :D

Patrick Walton

Hey, we got your back Danielle, we understand that the ups and downs from anxiety and depression can be pretty erratic so there is no shame in that. I won't go into too many details on suggestions because plenty of the others have told you the exact things I would have suggested. With that said, self medication has its place and trust me, this is coming from someone who hit a pretty low point with depression several years back, nothing is more exhilarating than overcoming it with your own willpower; don't be afraid of the possible need for some meds though, if it's properly regulated then it really helps, I've seen it in one of my dearest friends and now he only needs half as much now because he got back into a better "groove" of things. On a more personal note, you are not alone. Your so much better than you think you are, because you are a amazing woman. We know you, and I hope you know it too. Stay safe friend. 😄 Big hugs all the way from Canada. 🤗

Pika Pika ! Beautiful and cute Dani ! I knew well that that do not go, I know finally why, then do not worry you I lived and saw the same thing, it is moreover for that that from time to time I am also quiet and absent, And I know that that worries you often just like I am worried for you! It is by periods, You are well right not to take medicine, I have never taken it also. An advice, spell is going to get a breath of fresh air and makes of things that you like and especially you should not be ashamed, we are not the only ones to suffer from that. I would have so much liked saying more but my English is not perfect, sorryyyy !!! If you need help or what you want to speak about it, do not hesitate I am there, I have already told it you, my friend . Courage ! I love you so much

I appreciate that telling us may have been difficult, but I definitely think its a good thing. I have been dealing with anxiety for almost ten years now (and depression at times), so hopefully I can offer you some helpful advice. First off, don't be ashamed. This affects a lot of people, and affects them in different ways and to different degrees. Make sure you put your own needs first. You deserve to be happy and well, and no-one should make you feel otherwise. Also, look into counselling/therapy. It might sound like a big deal to some but it really isn't. Mostly I just found it really useful to be able to talk to someone who had no bias, and to help you get your own thoughts and perspective in order. Sometimes its not easy to determine where anxiety and depression comes from without some real thought and discussion. Lastly, just know that how ever bad it gets, it can *always* get better. Anxiety has a way of making people feel things are worse than they really are but if you push through it will all work out in the end. Help is always there if you ask for it :)

James Archer

I know doctors take a lot of bad things said about them when it comes to depression and anxiety. But I would wholeheartedly recommend looking for a good one if you have the opportunity. Sure meds are frowned upon, but they have their place. As long as they are there to help get you trough a tough spot while you do something about the true cause of problems. If you can find a doctor that you feel is good enough to help you and smart enough to make a therapy that will fit you, go for it. You will come out of it more functional then most of people, including the ones that feel they have no problems. :) Until then hope you feel better. You certainly seem to be giving it a good effort from what you are saying. Know that there are a lot of people here who think you are awesome and wish that soon enough you feel that too. :) Also the pics are very nice, thank you!

Milos

I feel the same way a lot over the past few years but haven't been to a doctor about it because I know whats wrong with me, but a doctor can't tell you how to fix you... It's about going through each emotion, and each choice you make daily, and experimenting with taking things out, and putting new things in... A motivated brain is a happy brain, but a overwhelmed brain is a sad brain. I'd say it's the stress from us patronites, you finally have some time and more money to be able to do these cosplays, and you are trying really hard to get all of them done, and it's making you sad and tired. This is just my thoughts on it, so I would say, don't take on any more cosplay projects. Finish the ones you have now, and start doing one at a time. Maybe even take a break from Cosplay altogether, as sad as that may be, finding something else to do for awhile may be worth-while, such as drawing, or learning an instrument. Everyone here wouldn't have a problem with that, and support you just the same. You can then come back to cosplaying after some well deserved time off. Words will only help you feel better for so long, so once again, go watch that video! It may help you figure some stuff out, I think it will help me too! (Red Skirt to match? Would look amazing!)

James Hughes

Anxiety is part of modern life, everyone has different forms of it, but we manage it. Usually they try to pump meds in you, but out here Cali we usually smoke some herb to calm ourselves down. It helps a lot as an alternative to anti anxiety/muscle relaxants. You will be fine Danielle:) you are strong.

Cesar Gonzalez

Dani you know I'm always here if you need me. Love you more than you know and more than I can put into words. Stay strong my friend. And if you feel like you can't move forward I'll carry you. ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

Bennie Thurmond III

I really really can't wait to see you in your full out Kasumi outfit. Also, I admit, I am very happy with the results (even though I would have been happy with any results anyway) and will love to see how it all turns out. Also, I looooovvvveeee the pic you have there, very lovely and kinda exotic really. Every single time, you make us masterpieces that will be so absolutely amazing.

Nickolas Zissimos

YES! I love the photos. Thank you for sharing that lady. Though I know I can't fix the world around you just know as always (for whatever it's worth) that you are loved and I hope that helps you with your perception of the world and yourself

Benjamin Donahue

Get better Dani! And dont worry, were staying here forever and will support u!! haha

Roy Redgrave

i've had the same problem for most of my life. it gets easier with time; you learn how to cope and you start to call yourself out on your own bullshit. For me it was to the point where I *had* to take medication, so count your blessings if you don't. If you can see a professional about it, i would definitely recommend it. just someone who can give you advice, a psychologist/therapist, not someone who will prescribe meds the second they meet you.

Marc !

All the best! My partner and a few of my friends have depression so I'm aware of how that goes. I hope you get back to your TKD soon. Martial arts is great for stabilising that. Wishing you support and best wishes! :) :)

Jeremy SFX Weetman

Most importantly, know that you have friends who are there. Whether to have someone who can physically do activities with you or someone who you can talk to, you have friends. You're not alone. I'm glad to hear you're getting back into things you like and I hope things continue to get better. Stay awesome!

Mike Barton

Doing things you like is very important to keep an healthy mind, I hope you'll get better and stronger every day ! Wish you the very best ! ^^
