Progress Report, 16/11 - 18

The DH is ill once more, but he pushes on for another Progress Report!

People have been wondering so, as mentioned previously, project "Grandkids" has seen a completely new format for scene structuring, focused mainly around the prospect of soundbites effectively deciding the pace and manner of the story. This method is presently being applied to both Lady of the Woods 2 as well as Blitzball, which requires some restructuring but makes working much easier, and I fully intend to utilize this system in the future as it is much more intuitive and fun to work with. Earlier, I would apply sounds post-animation and attempt to find moments of dark screen or where faces weren't visible for specific voice lines, and while it remains to be seen if this new system actually works out as well as I hope, it's none the less going to be better than the way things worked before.

As you can see, this enables me to also pan out scenes well in advance through the natural forming of a script, which then paves the way for the animation. Earlier, animation would come first, often organically shifting along a more abstract, general script which more often than not worked a lot better in my head, or on paper, than in SFM. But, enough of this boring technical stuff, look at that amazing Cassie ass up top instead :)

Summarized, work is under way and "Grandkids", previously known as "Lovers' Night" which was revealed almost a full year ago and immediate hit a road block, has been making strides while I've been shaking my fist at Lulu's otherwise lovely model. I was meaning to get a short snipped animated this week and show as a preview, but I simply didn't have the time in between all the usual stuff :)
