Progress Report, 25/01 - 19

Progress continues in spite of my busy schedule this week, which is stretching slowly into the whole damn month of January. We also got some results from our poll, telling me that the community either largely enjoys crossover work or simply doesn't care either way, which effectively gives me maximum freedom to just cook together what I find interesting :)

Blitzballs and Lady of the Woods 2 are still seeing some restructuring in work approach on account of my new work methodology since Grandkids, with getting the sounds sorted being the first step on the way. Turns out in my zeal to rip all the Lulu sounds from the game made me end up with some ~450 sound files that needs categorizing and, worst of all, naming - all of them effectively being nondescript numericals with a small "rr" suffix at the end. As you might imagine, in order for me to be able to actually utilize them in my work, I need to be able to browse and find what I need among them. As such, most of my spare time this week has gone to said sorting, which isn't very exciting but none the less very necessary. It's effectively laying the groundwork for more speedy, smoother and less of a painful production later down the line.

I've also found a little time to dip into the Syx project and write up a small script for it, with the hopes that it's in a presentable state in the near future.

Although my work doesn't seem to be letting up at present, I'm doing all in my power to keep delivering what I want to actually deliver to my backers. Let's hope for some respite before the winter closes, shall we?
