Jack "running interference" inevitably meant a walk in the park, particularly if the facility was occupied by Cerberus or Blue Sun forces - or both. The moment rumors began circulating of the tattooed, brash biotic being somewhere nearby, bending over and waiting for the first people to arrive, the corridors were as empty as a derelict's.

Shepard sighed to himself, shaking his head as he proceeded through the halls. He'd forgotten, once again, to supply her with protection, which no doubt would result in something of a headache down the line.
