Progress Report, 08/11 - 19

Fridays are for nursing a cold and sharing news regarding the happenings of the week.

First, Alexstrasza is seeing a continuation of her orc stuffing. At this point, all I'm doing is animating as scene posing is largely finished, though I'm still considering what would be a suitable "ending" to the whole thing. If you have any suggestions as to what fade-to-black scene would be suitable, please do share. I hope to have some animation teaser in the near future to share as well.

Also, music suggestions for the project would still be appreciated!

Second, the script draft for Lady of the Woods 2 is almost reaching completion. I've been tentative on how much actual conversation to include into it, and have revised it more times than I can count, but I hope to be able to share it with you in the near future.

Third, most crucially in terms of news, I am finally getting my own office space! Previously I've been stuck in the living room, which has heavily impacted my ability to focus on this line of work, particularly when there's "traffic" there - which is more often than not. I cannot stress enough how much of an impact this have had on both quality and my actual ability to work on projects, so hopefully we'll see a up-tick in content once I get my little man-cave set up. As it looks right now, I just need to clear out some undesirable material that's in the way, and get myself a USB wifi connection to the router, and we're good to go.

Fourth, commissions are underway. I work them slowly, so sorry for the absolutely abysmal rate at which I contact each of you in person. I vastly underestimated both how many of you were interested, and how my health would be impacted by treatment, so if any of you want to withdraw I perfectly understand. Anyone I've promised a slot is, otherwise, still guaranteed their slot. I am just terribly slow.

Other than that I'd just like to, as always, thank you for your continued support and for all of your kind words. As we steadily truck on towards christmas, it hasn't stopped the holiday material from being out well over a month ago. I swear I saw plastic christmas trees before I saw halloween stuff this year, which is pretty crazy. At least the songs haven't started just yet, but brace yourselves for that - my heart goes out in particular to those of you working retail :)
