Cerberus Enthusiast

After the war and the subsequent destruction of the academy, everyone had to find something to do while the world rebuilt. Doctors driving cabs and physicists laying bricks might not spark the greatest of enthusiasm, but all had to do their part to facilitate the restoration of society as it had been, before the Reaper threat had come crashing down.

Tending to old Cerberus personnel, now welcomed back into the fold of the Alliance, had required Jack to swallow no little amount of pride, though she had found herself becoming desensitized to the matter with uncharacteristic haste. They had requested her, she'd been told, demanded even, and in the negotiations she'd become simply another bargaining chip switching tables for the greater good of society.

She'd be back to punching people one day, but for now, her hands would only ever clench into fists when gripping the covers of beds - whether it was to change them, or because one of her clients had positioned himself behind her. Feigning enthusiasm had initially been difficult, but as the months went on, she'd found that doing so reduced the time she had to spend with these people - play meek and wanton, and even the most uptight of Cerberus officers would quickly falter and empty both their family jewels and wallets with an eagerness mirroring her own.

She'd become very, very good at feigning enthusiasm.

Wednesday Wallpaper, sliding in right before the day ends! Been a while since we saw Jack, I believe, and I do love the opportunities that static posing gives you in terms of tacking on clothes that otherwise wouldn't fit models. Lets the creativity flow or something :)
