Progress Report, 10/01 - 20

Fridays are for remembering you're in a new year and to stop writing 19 everywhere, but also for giving people a rundown of the upcoming plans and content for 2020 (provided we all aren't cleansed in nuclear fire).

Hello everyone, hope the new year is treating you well enough so far. This past week of mine, since the years switched, has been filled with the typical fallout that a funeral results in, particularly with the responsibility that comes with being one of those often charged with maintaining the social safety net of others. A twinge of illness on top of that, and you might imagine I've been busy. Regardless, I got some Alexstrasza animating done, though not massive amounts, but I am hoping that will change already in the coming days.

Commission work is still underway. I am contacting each and every one at intervals that works with my schedule, so thank you for being patient with me.

Now! Plans for 2020. As you might've spotted above, my twitter follower count just reached a whopping 3000, which is naturally a cause for celebration. I'm considering some kind of community poll, but while twitter is certainly an important and precious platform, I don't want it to take too much time away from the matters I have over here. Thus, I figured I would query you all for what manner of poll to run over there, whether it's for a video project, a loop or a wallpaper, and I'll give you all some control over my time spent elsewhere in that respect. Pretty meta, if you ask me, to poll a community regarding a community poll, but I digress.

First on the menu in 2020 is the Alexstrasza project, still slated for a January release. The editing might be so brutal that I find it takes longer than anticipated, considering the sheer length of the project, but I will do my damndest either way.

Following this, it's finally time to get a Lulu project out the door again. The poll will be strictly divided between Blitzballs and the Lady of the Woods 2, with short summaries and example images to keep people in the loop. I will run this after the Alexstrasza project is released, as to not have any further distractions.

Following the release of that, it's time to poll, yet again, the community regarding future directions for this patreon, and my content. Specifically, I'll be putting up yet another larger poll asking you people which setting and/or universe you'd prefer, and then I'll come up with a few ideas that I'll narrow it down to, in yet another poll. This will be the guiding light for another, large-scale future project, which will see production alongside the remaining Lulu project.

Additionally, although I am yet to get an update from Bangfri regarding my orcess model, I have begun - as a warm-up - to create a mini-comic based around the Jaina+Troll Male piece I made a while back, called "Finding Peace". I hope to learn GIMP as an image manipulation program well enough to string together comic panels in a cohesive manner, something I honestly haven't tried doing since drawing stick figure comics as a kid. Those were pretty sick though, so I imagine your future content is in good hands.

Jokes aside, I am humbled and honored by your support, and wish to offer my sincerest thanks for it, in whichever form it comes. Let's make 2020 a good one, at least in here!
