Progress Report, semi-AFK for a week, 24/01 - 19

Hello everyone and welcome to yet another in the line of our progress reports.

Addressing the most important matter first, I am going to have to take a week's pseudo-hiatus starting tomorrow Saturday, leading up until February 1 or 2. The reason is the recent funeral, and the fallout and mourning period that follows when you have a large, international family who lost someone they all had in common. I recently got notified, on extremely short notice, of family coming up north and needing, unsurprisingly, a place to stay. Being something of a spider in the web of the northern branch of this family, it's effectively my responsibility to house them, and facilitate their mourning, meaning I'll have people staying over for a week, while my usual work continues. The past week has been extremely busy with finding accommodations, helping with travel planning, expenses, and other arrangements.

As you might imagine, this throws a wrench into my projected release window for the Alexstrasza project. I have some hope that I will be able to get some work done during this period, courtesy of my partner being able to effectively tank the requirements for many of the social gatherings, but it will inevitably sap my time and energy, meaning I will have to reluctantly accept defeat and push it into February. This all said, the project itself is shaping up nicely, and though I am annoyed at the outdated penis models used, I have a feeling it's going to be fairly well received.

I cannot guarantee to be able to deliver the Monday loop or wallpapers either, for which I apologize - this all really just fell into my lap on really short notice. Again, I'm sorry, and I hope to be able to work twice as hard once this whole matter is settled.

On a lighter note, the poll has finished, with a decent voter turnout. As such, the Twitter poll will consist of the 4 (maximum for twitter polls) most popular characters used in my work, which is primarily defined by the frequency of their appearance, for the purpose of a short video project. Thank you for your input on this, I hope to have this poll going soon and will notify you here as well when it's up so you can vote there as well :)

Thank you, as always, for your continued support and for all of your kind words in these trying times. There seems to be something with the start of new years and all the stressful matters just heaping together, but we'll push through as always. Hope, as they say, is the last thing that leaves the body, and I happen to have a lot of it stored up :)
