Progress Report, 03/04 - 20

Hello everyone and welcome to yet another progress report!

The week has moved on at pace, with society being the way it is now and some of us still having to go to work, things are hectic to say the least. Still, I managed to get some work done pertaining to the Lady of the Woods 2 project, primarily in the form of voice acting scouting where I am narrowing down voice ranges that might fit Lulu. So far the foremost candidate I've found is known as Midnight Datura, who does an amazing rendition of Widowmaker's whispery, husky tones. While I'm not planning on giving Lulu a French accent, she seems to have a really great range with no issues speaking very Americanized English. Script writing is still underway, as is early scene posing, the two of them necessarily coming together at the start to see what is feasible due to the inherent limitations of the SFM engine and just straight up model availability.

As you can see above, I've also done some scene and posing work for the 3K twitter follower short project, which is probably fitting considering I'm now closer to 4k than 3k followers over there, but hey, better late than never. It has some basic camera work, though no animation as of yet, nor any projection on how long it'll be, but I have a feeling it'll bloat a bit beyond its original scope, as always, unless I nip it early in the bud. The goal is to create a quick, but intense, 1-2 minute short, but with my seemingly obsessive need for exposition and minute explaining of the silly lore workings of a scene, I imagine it could grow beyond that.

Commission work continues, with a few smaller, private ones delivered recently. Hope to have another done for this Monday if all goes well. Slowly but surely, we shall work our way down the list.
