She needed to buy time - enough for them to start squabbling among themselves outside. Then, she'd dart for the door, and the stairs, and vanish into the streets.

Hello everyone and welcome to a very brief progress report!

As I'm sure you've realized, the past week has been utilized intermittently between Blender and project work. Most importantly, I can now confirm with 100% certainty that Midnight Datura is on board for our Lulu, having received the boiled down version of the script with her lines etc. Once she's calculated cost, she's getting back to me so I can send her her just due. Scene work, in the meantime, continues.

Also of importance, perhaps, is my leaps in understanding Blender and the power of the program in question. Though I am yet to complete the tutorial entirely, impatient as I am about making this kind of stuff, I fully intend to go through the whole thing and eventually, present you with the shiniest doughnut I can muster.

Not a metaphor, the tutorial is about making a doughnut from scratch. I guess I must now also invent the universe.

Also, if I've failed to mention it before, Lizzie Ray got back to me in the affirmative about voicing the 3K twitter follower special as Liara. It's going to be quite a bit shorter than my regular projects, but I hope to get two or three creampies in there at least. I really want to move on to other projects and polling you people for more ideas, and it's a bit embarrassing seeing as I'm now closing in on 4k twitter followers so I really want this one out the door! A good problem to have, perhaps :)

Oh, on the subject of voice acting:
If anyone knows who it is that voices Cassie Cage in the Studio FOW short "Daddy Issues", please do tell me. I've tried to find out but have drawn a blank so far, and before I go bother the VA community discord channels about it, I'd love to hear if the community here had the answer since they're very busy over there. We need this VA talent for... upcoming things, after all. Particularly as she does an amazing job at Cassie.

Been one hell of a week, but not hectic enough for me to forget to thank you, as always, for your continued support and for all of your kind words. We're all doing our best out there, in whichever form that comes, and we'll see the light at the end of the tunnel one of these days :)
