Well, Lia fell on Sunday and it didn't seem to have been a big deal, but from the night on she started to feel a LOT of pain and having difficulty on walking 🙁 We took her to the vet yesterday so she could start a good pain treatment, luckily she didn't dislocate or break anything, but she’s surely feeling a lot of pain. As she can't walk straight very well, I need to take care of her 24 hours a day, so it's been 3 days since I hardly sleep at all. I'm not able to work properly too, sorry for that. I’m not leaving my house either, it's been difficult for her and for me 😐 it’s truly heartbreaking. Just thought I should explain the silence 🤕
Here’s some pics after the vet yesterday, she felt better right after but as the night arrived she got worse 😓 Tomorrow she has another appointment if she doesn’t get any better 😵💫

2021-11-24 18:23:24 +0000 UTCWell, I've been there myself with my dog, he was 9 years old. This is, sadly enough, quite common for dogs, especially purebreds. As they grow older, they have a tendency to develop a paralysis from their butt, preventing them from walking. I'm not a doctor (nor a vet, which is basically the same thing), but when my dog had this issue, I've been told to walk him out as often as possible (and preferably outside, in the park), give him some pills (best way to do so is to grind them to dust and put it in the food) to boost him and to dull the pain. It is a long process, and you need to take care of her all the time, but when it works, you're glad your dog feels better. It is necessary that you take some time off, put your work aside and (needless to say) focus on her well being. The rest can wait, there's nothing more important than taking care of a loved one. All I can say is that I support you and Lia with all my heart, be brave and take all the time you need!

I was too far away to prevent this from happening, but I didn’t see it coming. It didn’t look bad when it happened so I wasn’t too worried. I didn’t explain because I’m too tired to think about how I should write things in English, but here you go 😅
