I wanted to ask you something: Do you use Instagram? If yes, what do you usually like to watch on stories? I've been very negligent with my IG lately, but I never really know what to do. Most of my audience only speaks English and Spanish, and I speak Portuguese 8D So I don't really know if I should stick with my native language or if I should make an effort and post things in English. That's why I'm asking you what can be interesting for you to see 🤗
Since I lost my IG some years ago my reach was never the same, and each year is getting even worst. 🥺

2022-02-24 22:21:19 +0000 UTCI use Instagram and I do watch the stories for certain people I follow on there (yourself included haha), however it's never been a priority of mine. Usually the folks I follow from the cosplay side end up posting up the "hey check out my new post!" in their InstaStories so the stories format can be a bit redundant, depending on the content creator of course haha. Either way I'm still down for watching them but please don't feel obligated. It sucks that Insta's been a bit less-than friendly with the cosplay scene (I remember when your original page got nuked a while ago; it was happening to a lot of cosplayers; for some reason the words cosplay and model seems to have triggered it... probably false reports or an overly protective content system). Hard to come back from that I'm sure. Also as for the language, I prefer English, however it's really honestly up to you. I follow some other cosplayers that cast their stuff in both English and the language they natively speak and it seems to be just fine. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt for you to bounce back and forth if you need to. You wouldn't be alienating any of your viewers and I'm sure we'd all understand. In either situation do what you gotta do! If you've gotta adjust to try to get that reach back I'm all for it! It's just more people who'll build onto this already awesome community! Can't wait to see the pics! (Your sis always has such a vibrant energy it seems from the pics you guys have done together in the past or if she comes up in your feed). Really compliments your own vibes. PS: let us know if there's anything we as the community can be doing to help you out in the meantime besides the obvious :D! We'll all be on standby for the meantime!

2022-02-24 14:48:02 +0000 UTCI'm not a fan of stories (I don't understand the reason of a 24 hour limit content in a world were not everybody have the time to check social media everyday), but my FOMO (fear of missing out) makes me check them out as soon and long as I can. About your other question, yeah, when there's no traslation my FOMO strikes again, so it is very appreciated when you put text boxes with the traslation or summary. No need for you to speak in other language. And since English is the languageI believe most countries teach as a second language, maybe that would be more useful than traslating to Spanish (even if USAers aren't fond of reading subtitles).

You could try using your IG to practice your English, since I understand Portuguese, Spanish and English I would support any decision you take with your stories. Whatever content you make, do it cuz you want to, don't force yourself to do something just for likes. My best wishes for you Queen 👑

But I'm a weirdo. I like seeing BTS for shoots and of course anything with Lia and your unpacking shorts. Keep being authentic and I think you'll be good.

Honestly I don't mind the Portuguese stories at all because it's the language you're most comfortable with, and if you include text with it I can translate it easily with my phone. On the other hand I can see how posting more in English might attract new people. 🤔 It looks like you get some good engagement on Twitter. Has that been going well for you?
