Since it only happened once a year, and being one of the few privy to the knowledge thereof, Liara made sure to be present for the occasion each and every time. The Volus in the meantime were, unsurprisingly, extremely pent up after having spent some 12 earth months in their pressurized suits, which meant a quick but thorough wash-up and then getting down to business.

And business was good, every year.
