Progress Report and Poll Results, 15/01 - 21

Fridays are for falling asleep in the morning after your night shift only to wake up during the day because a neighbor has a hobby involving drilling. That, and it's for writing about the stuff we have in the works here, and future endeavors!

Hello everyone! Let's try to keep this brief since, after all, we have a result on the SFM poll! Ashley Williams seem to have eked out a win with a scarce 10 votes more than Ivy in second place. Honorary mentions are Jessica Rabbit and Jaina, who I will keep in mind in terms of their popularity in this poll for other matters.

However! We're lucky that Ivy and Ashley are rather congruent characters, in this sense. The first thing that came to mind when I saw the results was a joint-project involving both owing to Ivy's nature as something of a lizardman lover, and Ashleys proclivity towards monster/alien men. I'll see what I can cook up, but I imagine I could concoct a scenario of Ashley being sent down to the surface of a planet in order to make contact with the heavily beleaguered colonists there, and Ivy being her guide, or the likes. Combining universes is always a challenge from a "story" standpoint, but with some effort, I believe it can be done.

In this sense, owing to these results, I have set the goal as having Ashley and Ivy star in the same, large SFM project. I'll see about coming up with a fitting project name in the near future.

In other project work, we're making some headway. Continued Negotiations keep having scenes added to it, bloating beyond its original size, and I got some more work done on the Don Corneo model recently that I hope will translate well into the still unnamed Tifa Blender Project. On that note though, there's an alternative idea in my head for what I could have in store for Tifa, owing to the results of the Male VA poll we did (as Don Corneo, in the current script, is rather vocal), which is more Shinra soldier-gang bang oriented, but I'll see if I can make that translate smoothly in the Blender engine itself as it's heavily dependent on model limitations.
