Progress Report, 22/01 - 20

Hello everyone and welcome to a brief progress report!

This week's been on the stressful side, but I none the less have manage to get some work on larger projects done in between my regular update schedule. Don Corneo's model will be finished soon, is the hope, and I am now leaning heavily in favor of the new Tifa model released, meaning I have to revamp some aspects of the scenes as they are - though that was already necessary with the on-going script writing changes, including more than a few Shinra soldiers if things pan out.

In terms of Continued Negotiations, I have kept adding "short burst" scenes, which will serve as padding between the more dialogue-intensive section of the project, with the hope that they will give it better pacing as well as make the project in question longer. It's looking to become my largest, most ambitious project to date, by every measure in terms of length, dialogue and just general resources poured into it, so I hope I can animate and do it justice when the time comes.

Script writing for the joint Ivy/Ashley project is underway, my addled brain having conjured up a scenario of Ashley being sent as a Citadel agent, being a Specter and all, to establish contact with an old human colony gone rogue, and it turning out that the colony has largely assimilated with the local lizardmen, opting to forsake their old ways and instead intermingle with the locals. Ivy ends up being Ashley's guide and, in demanding her help in dealing with some local troublemakers in exchange for information, the two of them end up having a lovely time with some lizardmen.

I've begun to explore properly the prospect of SFM to Blender and back again conversions, as I can do the first somewhat well now for very basic models. In conjunction with this, I am looking into WoW model ripping proper, as to be able to pursue the comic idea I am still working on, once my custom orc model lands.

One last commission still remains. I still hope to get to it very soon.

Lots of things going on, so thank you, as always, for your continued support and for all of your kind words! The start of the year is sort of the stressful section before you get the boulder rolling downhill, so hopefully my work load eases up soon, so I can focus properly on these matters again :)

Take care of yourselves, and each other!
