Progress Report, 19/03 - 21

Hello everyone and welcome to this week's brief progress report!

The past week has been quite eventful in terms of my real life commitments, but I've still managed to eke out some time to work on project matters. Primarily, aside from spitballing a bunch of wallpapers for the coming weeks over on the discord, I've put a lot of work into figuring out how to create smooth camera movement and utilizing the graph editor in Blender, primarily to facilitate the first upcoming Scenario that we've got in the works.

While the session file is called "Meeting Balak", I am probably going to come up with something more fitting once the project reaches completion. The setting however is, effectively, a take on the scene in Mass Effect 3 where Balak confronts Shepard on the Citadel, where you can recruit him to the galactic efforts against the Reapers if you choose the right Paragon options. Of course, as you can tell from the teaser above, he's convinced in a different way this time around :)

I hope to utilize this Scenario as a proof of concept of sorts, aiming for it to span upwards to a minute in length, meaning it'll allow for a Redgifs upload as well for easy viewing (Redgifs allows maximum of 60 seconds on their uploads), and utilizing, like the olden time, ripped in-game sounds to give it all life.

I've also made the decision to turn "Breaking the Lineage" into a Scenario. The script is being remade into a more intense ordeal, with Shinnok being extremely productive in his goal to knock up Cassie, meaning he'll probably splurge inside her several times in under a minute. I'll see how it'll work out in practice, and whether I'll have to shorten down my ambitions, or simply lean into making it a longer Scenario that just can't sit on Redgifs or the likes. Once I get back to poking around with it, I have no doubt in my mind that I'll find a decent enough solution to it, as I definitely still want to see it finished.

If the Balak Scenario turns out really well and is well received, I might consider turning the Tifa Blender Project into something similar, if slightly lengthier, as I have finally realized that I, for the life of me, cannot find the creative groundwork to make the project last as long as I have done previous projects - if anything, owing to the way the premise is set up. At the same time, I don't feel like I can make another big gang bang ordeal out of it just to stretch it either, as I have other projects of similar setups kink-wise, and while those certainly are common in my work I feel like I need to mix it up now and then to retain my sanity. Creampie gang bangs are quite exhausting to animate, edit etc, and if every project I make simply turn into a myriad of those without any larger, overarching narrative, I feel like it'd result in burnout and kill my drive to make more, as happened with the old Alien DNA series for instance. Best tread carefully, and follow where the creative impulses lead, instead of trying to push where there's too much resistance - otherwise, we'll see certain things quickly end up in development hell, only to either be forgotten or cancelled.

I'm unsure whether the Scenario in question will be done for Monday as it stands - it depends on whether I get called into work during the weekend or not, and a host of other things. What I can say is that it's something that is small enough for me to, technically, get sorted with a week or two of work, which is significantly shorter than any project, short or not, that I have made in the past. I can only hope people enjoy the final product in that sense. If it's not done for Monday, expect another Monday Loop, just as usual :)

And that, I believe, is that for this week. I still have one final commission to sort out, but once I finally get it done, I'll contact the next in line, and work my way down the list until we have no one left. I also have a potential art trade coming up, which I am very excited for, so look forward to that. As always, thank you so incredibly much for your continued support, and for all of your kind words!
