I had to rewrite the last two pages a few times. My initial draft had Kai be angry with his dad, but it felt like it came out of nowhere, so I shifted it to be more frustrated.

It has interested me a lot that despite the story starting with Kai putting on the clothes of his mother that he has never enjoyed being a girl
