"Maybe you could... you know..."

"What, Reed?"

"Like, let that side of you come out, now and then? Maybe even for tonight's dinner?"

She fixed him with a glare, but the way he was fidgeting was strangely disarming, and she felt her initial anger fade into a small, simmering annoyance - like background radiation, humming behind indisputably growing amusement.

"... is it the getup, or the attitude that does it for you?"

"I uh... wouldn't say it's one thing or the other, really."

She titled her head before slowly walking over, approaching him like a cat would a bowl full of juicy, wet food.

"Make it real romantic, and maybe I'll consider it."

"... I'll see you at 7."

Malice takes home the victory with a singular vote in the Less Popular Ladies vote! She's been in the gallery for quite some time so I was somewhat surprised to see her get the spotlight this late, all things considered, but that's what a combination of dice and Managed Democracy does. Maybe the Rivals hype is also calming down a bit, all things considered. Either way, pretty happy with how it turned out all in all, so hope you enjoy it folks!

Thank you, so much, for your support and kind words. The cold I've caught has progressed into something a bit heavier, but I'm hoping this is the worst of it. I best get some (more) warm coffee into me and cozy up on the couch or something, so hope you're all doing well out there - and please, take care of yourselves as well as each other!
