Hey all, I REALLY need your opinion on my patreon moving forward.
Added 2023-09-05 16:20:10 +0000 UTCEDIT UPDATE HERE:
https://www.patreon.com/posts/88819126
(I currently have 3 tiers: £2.50, £5, £9)
I've realised 1/3rd of my patrons last month, paid £5, got all 2 years of content and dipped.
I was considering making a £20 legacy tier for new patrons who wish to have the entire catalgue of 2 years. I would do this by going back and altering the tiers for the previous posts to be the £20 legacy tier.
"But I've been a patron for a very long time!" YOU'RE AMAZING TY. The way I'm going to fix this is by DM-ing everyone who have already subbed for a total of £20+ will get a megadrive link with all of my old content. (And I just hope that doesn't get shared around).
New patrons who sub to the new legacy (£20) tier will also be given the megadrive link. However, it is then up to them to lower their pledge to one of the previous tiers.
New patrons who sub for £5 will get that month's content + the last month's content. Once new patrons have subbed for 4 months (cumulative £20) they will ALSO get access to the megadrive link of old content.
After a post has been up for 2 months, it's tier will be changed to the legacy tier.
ANYWAY PLS GIVE OPINIONS OR HELP

I know some artist who offer the past rewards of a higher tier in their shop and send just the new stuff to their active subscribers. But I don't know if there are any features of the creator side of Patreon that make that process easier than you have proposed
