Unintended Cultivator, Artwork, and Royal Road

So, first things first, there will be a new chapter of Unintended Cultivator posted here today. It's just fighting me a little harder than usual.
On the artwork front, I'm debating with myself about how I want to handle it. Part of me thinks I should just pick someone and see how they do. But that can make for some seriously long-winded trial-and-error testing. The other part of me thinks I should pick two or three artists, give them the same assignment, and let people vote on which one they like best. What do you guys think? Be decisive or have a vote?
Last thing. I assume that many of you found your way here from Unintended Cultivator's home over on Royal Road. If you're enjoying Rinn's Run or Jericho Lott on this page, they are also on Royal Road. From my memory, beware of chicken and hard enough are two stories that regularly have commissioned art, though I'm not sure how much makes it to royalroad from Patreon. And I'm sure there are others, too, but I can't think of any

2023-05-20 11:41:01 +0000 UTCOne thing you could try for the art is to look through some of the art that other royalroad stories have, to get a feel of the styles of different artists and pick one you might like to contact. And even if that specific artist is too busy/expensive to do art for you, it'll at least give you an idea for the options you have for styles.
