This was very loosely based on a real image I found. I went back and looked. The ears in that image were slightly off as well, so I suspect it's just an accidental artifact that carried over from the image to the drawing. I mean, I didn't really notice it until you pointed it out. As for the teeth...Yeah, I got nothing. They seem okay to me.
