Imperial Basic Infantry Rifle
Added 2020-07-09 19:30:50 +0000 UTCI feel I need to make the model of it, so I can have clear reference to draw and not having the same gun looks different in every picture. lol I use the grip, mag and rear stock bumper from AR15, then barrel from SA80, both models are from Grabcad.com and the rest are made by myself. The length of the whole rifle is only 64cm, with a barrel length of 450mm, the trigger is electronically linked to the firing pin mechanism, this eliminates the long mechanical link bullpup rifle of today has.With this rifle mass produced for decades, using existing proven parts from old days, the Empire has these as standard issue for all troops and loyal citizens.

Oh dear, I forgot to minus the loading mechanism, the barrel should be at 45cm. lol

2020-07-10 05:15:44 +0000 UTCAt an overall length of 64 with 53cm barrel length, 11cm seems a pretty short space for the rifle's action to operate in. Do they use shorter cartridges than we do in the present day, or have tech to get away with a shorter bolt carrier group? Fancy visual design, otherwise!
