Added 2020-01-15 15:07:04 +0000 UTCOne thing I'd like to ask of everyone. Please give me some feedback on my work. And not necessarily on this site. Anything from eBay to TG Comics & Stories to Heroic to my own books on Lulu. I just rarely hear from anyone about what they think of my stuff.

I have a hard time coming up with a cute girl name derived from either "Darkseid" or "Thanos", but backing off a little bit to take in their creators, Jack Kirby and Jim Starlin, and their birthplaces, Apokolips and Titan, I come up with Jacki Sparkside and Jamie Saturn. I can picture Jacki slathering skin softener onto her crack-prone skin while red light burns behind her sunglasses and her knockers tent out a tank top printed SPARKSIDE IS. At her side, Jamie wears a sun hat with a many-ringed brim and twirls a skull pendant on a chain of green beads. Well, just a thought.

2020-02-05 07:46:02 +0000 UTCI also expect Darkseid has pigtails and Thanos has a lisp.
2020-02-05 00:20:45 +0000 UTC*giggle* That sounds wonderful. I don't know why, but your comics have really showed me that there are few things more perfect than formerly tough superheroes and supervillains being turned into brats. I think it's sweet that they often find they're having far more fun as these eager hotties than they did as the boring ol' fuddy-duddies.

2020-02-04 15:45:37 +0000 UTCThanks. Glad you like all the twists and turns (and sexy curves). Also, I have one in mind I've never gotten around to: Darkseid & Thanos as two 16 year-old sexy brats partying.
2020-02-04 13:25:03 +0000 UTCI must admit that I discovered your art at a very formative time in my life, and it started my obsessive fascination for superheroes (and Archie characters) to be transformed into sexy ladies more concerned about their own needs than fighting crime. I have followed as many such images as I could online and participated in numerous ADDventure threads on numerous websites, almost all focused on heroes become bimbos, hookers, divas, and various other strains of hotness. There's just something about that total reversal, of these powerful archetypes of masculinity, strength, and drive, of seeing them become feminine, weak, and flighty, that has took such a hold on my imagination. I also love how so many of your captions aren't simply isolated images but stories that build up over time. I'm always excited to see a new installment in an old tale, especially something from Diablo Wars, Super Scramble, Superlex, or perhaps an Archie one such as Everyone Loves Angie or Femspray. Some of the characters that stand out the most to me are Nightwind, Mystery Woman, Batbrat, Kid Thang, Charlize Xavier, Lolly Gan, Angie Lodge nee Andrews, Wendy Weatherbitch, and Web Witch. I'm not sure why those in particular exactly, but it's probably because those are such intense reversals of the characters. Though I love seeing all sorts of characters transform, I feel that probably the ones that most attract my attention are the ones most easily reversed: powerful authority figures such as Batman and Professor X becoming weak and vapid, helpless girl-chaser Archie becoming a manipulative girl himself, tough Thing and Wolverine becoming sweet and giggly. They're such strange and wonderful worlds.

2020-01-21 15:15:38 +0000 UTCThat's been a while. Was that the first Tebby? Or was that the one where Debby changed her dad?
2020-01-21 11:08:15 +0000 UTCThe 'I Was a Teen-Age Girl' Tebby story from Transforma 05, is one of my favorites of yours of all time.

2020-01-20 14:33:15 +0000 UTCAgree with the transformations vs tv stuff as a general rule.... but from a plot device standpoint, it had a nice power exchange dynamic in it and I could envision the situation being far more permanent than it was intended bu the comic. And back when that one was done, there was far less art out there on the topic, so yours stood out. Your work stands the test of time!

2020-01-20 14:30:34 +0000 UTCWow! That Tebby story goes back a ways. I was never as interested in the TV stuff as the true transformations stuff, but the majorette one I liked. I was a member of the band in high-school, so I'm familiar with the milieu.
2020-01-20 13:59:27 +0000 UTCI have been a fan of your work for about as long as you have been using the name Tebra I think. The first thing that caught my eye was the style of your characters. It kinda upbeat and bubbly, and not just in a bimboish way (though it certainly works well with some of the topic matter). It seemed to me perhaps inspired a little by the style of the Archie comics, but that could just be coincidence. Then, of course, there is the subject matter. You did a piece that ended up in a Sandy Thomas pub about "Tebby" ending up as a majorette that had me hooked for life. as much as I love your work in color panels, I am old fashioned, I adore the B&W stuff!

2020-01-20 13:35:57 +0000 UTCI'm pleased you like my regular style, as opposed to the more photo-ref version. As with most every artist, all I see when I look at it are the flaws.
2020-01-17 17:41:54 +0000 UTCThanks very much. I appreciate it.
2020-01-17 17:40:48 +0000 UTCI've been a fan of yours for what feels like a decade and a half (I recall discovering archives of your works on various Yahoo groups way back in mid 2000s), I follow your e-bay listings intently just to see your new work when it's listed. I try to support you when I can afford it, I've bought some e-bay art over the years (always impressive to see in person) and bought some of your work on TGcomics. I'm just a big fan of your TG subject matter, both with popular super-hero and comic characters and your original content. I really love your comic art style, its very clean and classic, it's like Curt Swan, Dan DeCarlo, & Kevin Maguire had a baby (admittedly I'm less of a fan of the style that looks more photo referenced, like some of the images you've used in your Patreon banner above). I also love how you meld art with story, makes every piece feel like its own adventure. You've been a massive influence on me artistically, I'm always trying to emulate your art and story style. I'm really stoked to see your on Patreon, I'm still thinking about how to best support you, I'll probably upgrade my tier next month. I signed up at the $1 just to reply to this, for now. Thanks for all the wonderful artwork over the years!
